Baldur's Gate 3
Narrative Technology: Dream of the World
"The githyanki is the source of our protection against the Absolute. I MUST subdue him or everything we've worked towards is lost. Don't let my form deceive you. I am the one that's been protecting you. I am the one that came to you in your dreams. Help me." - This specific moment in the story connects the abstract, seemingly not-real moments that the player dreams of to a physical character that has effects on the story beyond what the player character sees/thinks alone.

Histoires ou contes du temps passé
Narrative Technology: Poetic Justice
Perrault added a moral to the end of Cinderella: "A woman's beauty is a rare treasure, but even richer in value is courtesy. "Courtesy" comes from "court"--it's a royal word, and it made Cinderella a queen. So, take heed! If you wish to win a prince's heart, courtesy is more vital than elegant hair. It's the true gift of the Fairies. With it you can accomplish anything"
